Chris Pfeiffer will support Lauren Manufacturing’s strategic plan for growth as the new executive vice president of the polymer solutions company.
He takes on the leadership role as Lauren envisions a future of expanded revenue, increased employee engagement and continued focus on operational excellence.
“Lauren’s executive team has set ambitious goals for what our business will look like in the coming years,” Pfeiffer said. “Each day, we’re establishing the processes and culture that will prepare us for that success.”
For Pfeiffer, that will include driving Lauren’s expansion into new markets, maintaining external relationships and developing employees.
“As a company, we aren’t satisfied with simply being competitive. We want to lead our industry,” he said. “The fact that we are extremely disciplined in our operations gives us the platform to do that.”
Pfeiffer’s commitment to continuous improvement and ability to connect with people made him the right choice for this new position, according to Lauren Manufacturing President Lisa Huntsman.
“Chris understands the importance of developing a bold strategy and has the experience to deliver on our vision,” Huntsman said. “His passion for empowering employees will ensure everyone’s potential is recognized.”
Pfeiffer, of Marietta, initially joined Lauren’s agriculture division in 2012 as president of Lauren AgriSystems. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president of Danser, Inc., a steel fabrication company near Parkersburg, W. Va. His entrepreneurial background includes founding two businesses, Enertia Trail Foods and The Bread Garage.
Pfeiffer will remain president of Lauren AgriSystems as well as a member of the Lauren International executive team.
“Lauren is in a strong position for continued growth,” Huntsman said. “Chris’s knowledge and enthusiasm is a tremendous addition to our team as we develop and implement our long-term business strategy.”
